Cross Roads: Location Location
By Paul Eslick

When it comes to property investing position is extremely important: close to transport, close to amenities, close to employment and low vacancy factors.
Not much different when it comes to positioning your accommodation beside a crocodile invested river except I had no intentions of lowering the vacancy factor that night.
Here we are at Kalpowar Crossing in the Lakefield National Park. The camping grounds have a natural 3 meter vertical cliff between the river and the camp site which gives sufficient height to provide a natural barrier between you and one of Australia's oldest protective animals.
When evaluating investment properties for development purpose look to those on the high side of the street - it may come in handy when you have to demonstrate how you are going to discharging water from roof gutters on any proposed new dwelling.
